Footnote: Oh the cow-power here! Silk is a pasture-perfect young cow that obviously weaned off a nice one and her udder is just about beyond comparison. When talking pedigree, she’s a unique mix being sired by the JLB Legacy bull, a son of GO Larry out of the Barber Geisha 8003 cow and on the dam’s side she is a daughter of the proven Ramsey Sylvia family that just gets more limited in supply every year. Her dam, MSC Ramsey’s Sylvia Powerload was Reserve Champion Horned Female at JNHE 2010 for Matthew Compton. Her first hit on Cracker Jack heifer calf (Lot 6) is an obvious good one. Now then, she’s even bred back right; the calf in dam will be a half-sibling to the Champion Pen of Bulls in Denver sired by GKB Laramie. Of course, Laramie, a leading 88 X son, was a showring dominator winning three National Champion titles back to back for GKB and Brumley’s in 2014 and 2015. Co-Owned with Ramsey’s Herefords, Greenfield, IN.
